Can my family and friends come to the UAE to visit me while I am working there?
Your friends and family can visit you in the UAE. Citizens of over 30 countries will be granted a visit visa free of charge upon arrival in the UAE. Passports will be stamped with the visit visa when they pass through Immigration at any airport in the UAE. The visa entitles the holder to stay in the country for 60 days and may be renewed once for an additional period of 30 days for a fee of Dh500 (approximately US$136).
Do I need a work permit for the United Arab Emirates?
If you wish to work in the United Arab Emirates you are required to have a work permit. The Ministry of Health in the UAE issues this visa. A full medical is required as part of the permit application process. This includes chest X-Ray, HIV and Hepatitis B blood tests. CCM will apply for and obtain a permit on your behalf. Our logistics co-ordinator will keep you up to date on the progress and co-ordinate with you on your travel details after the permit has been issued.
Who will take care of my travel arrangements?
CCM Recruitment International can arrange your travel from your contractual point of hire to the location of your employer. Your flights are paid for and you will be met at the airport on site by meet and greet staff who will accompany you to your accommodation and orientate you. Your travel pack will be collected by you in our offices or sent out to you in advance of your travel date. This travel pack will contain your passport with visa, your flight details and any other relevant documentation necessary for your journey. Your class of travel and luggage allowance will depend on the project you are travelling to, the status of your contract, and the airline you travel with.
