Moving abroad is a big step. How can I prepare for all the changes?

In considering a move to the USA, you are about to make one of the most important decisions of your life. At CCM, we believe that you require factual and realistic information to make an informed decision. Nurses who have submitted an application to CCM and meet the educational and clinical requirements will be invited in to meet with an experienced recruiter, who can discuss the options open to each individual. It may be the case that in the past you have looked into working in the USA and into the procedures that must be followed. If you have, you will be aware of the complexity of the process, CCM will help you through this process stage by stage.

What is it like to work as a travel nurse?

Working as a travel nurse is a great way to see the United States and gain unique professional experience. Our assignments are typically 13 weeks in length, and in many cases you will have the opportunity to extend your current assignment for an indefinite period. However, some nurses prefer moving from assignment to assignment. We offer a wide range of destinations, in most of the 50 states. We also work with all size hospital facilities-from 50 beds to over 1000 beds.

What are the benefits of working as a travel nurse?

Travel nurse benefits include:

  • Free visa sponsorship (green card)
  • Free private housing
  • Competitive salaries (often at a higher rate of pay than most full-time staff positions)
  • Completion bonuses for each 13 week assignment
  • Health, Dental and Life Insurance
