Amana Healthcare is a dedicated provider of long-term acute care, post-acute rehabilitation, home transition care and respite care services. Amana Healthcare currently operates two hospitals: a long-term care hospital for medically complex patients in Al Ain and a specialized inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Abu Dhabi, the first of its kind in the UAE. Amana Healthcare has received the highest accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (“CARF“) and accreditation as a Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program for Adults and for Children and Adolescents. This makes Amana Healthcare the only CARF-accredited specialized rehabilitation hospital and CARF-accredited facility in the United Arab Emirates in addition to the only private rehabilitation hospital with CARF accreditation in the Middle East.
Amana Healthcare has also received accreditation from Joint Commission International (JCI), the worldwide leader in improving the quality of healthcare. During JCI evaluation, Amana Healthcare displayed various innovations to the JCI team including the GCC’s (Gulf Cooperation Council) first dedicated in-hospital special education program and social integration and quality of life program for medically complex patients.
