Job Overview: Our client is seeking an Occupational Therapist, to join their team.

 

Educational/Professional Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in relevant areas of Occupational Therapy
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
  • Demonstrated efficiency in caseload management and prioritisation
  •  Demonstrated communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of family centred practice
  • Confidence and competence in working with a wide range of adult and paediatric caseloads
  • Recognise own limitations of ability and seek advice from others where appropriate
  • Demonstrated competency in computing, data processing and electronic communication as part of daily work
  • Demonstrated ability to role model KDHS values of Empathy, Wellbeing and Community and the “Everyone is a caregiver” philosophy
