Job Overview:  Multiple positions available to join a highly recognised private hospital within New South Wales, Australia.  CCM Recruitment are looking for experienced Scrub Scout, Anaesthetics and Recovery Nurses for our client hospitals within the lower North Shore, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter regions. Locations perfect for those who want a lifestyle change, enjoy the great outdoors and like picturesque views! This is your chance to work on a full-time basis for facilities that are well-respected in the global health care industry.  As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering a high quality of patient care, ensuring patient and staff safety, and collaborating within the multidisciplinary health care team. The positions are well-suited for Registered Nurses who specialise in either: 

 

  • Scrub Scout
  • Anaesthetics, or 
  • Recovery



Job Summary - Primary Duties:

  • Assessing and coordinating the care delivery needs of each individual patient. 
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol and delivering a high level of patient care. 
  • Performing duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders. 
  • Interacting with patients, families, and other visitors in a courteous, helpful manner.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum 18-24 months clinical experience in the related specialties (depending on hospital location) 
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or equivalent)
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic with a passion for delivering high quality of care
