Job Overview:  Relocate to Western Australia and join a highly supportive Maternity unit as a Registered Midwife. CCM Recruitment are looking for experienced Midwives for our client hospitals in Western Australia. In this location, you will uncover the real Aussie outback full of rich culture, pristine tropical oases, and spectacular scenery. This is your chance to work on a full-time basis is a wonderful location, taking a step back from city life. As a Registered Midwife, you will be providing the necessary support and care throughout pregnancy and in the beginning of a new life. You will be part of the maternity unit where you must have a passion for delivering a high quality of patient care. The positions are well-suited for Registered Midwives. 

 
Job Summary - Primary Duties:

  • Providing the best evidence based clinical and culturally safe midwifery care
  • Working respectfully and collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team from admission to discharge and participating in quality improvement opportunities. 
  • Interacting with patients, families, and other visitors in a courteous, helpful manner.
  • Attend mandatory staff development programs

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
  • Minimum 18-24 months clinical experience in the related specialty (depending on hospital location) 
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded although not essential
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidence based neonate nursing care
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic with a passion for women centred care
