Job Overview:  Senior position available to join an excellent team in Albany, Western Australia as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Continence Care. CCM Recruitment are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Continence Care for our client hospital in Western Australia. On your day’s off, enjoy the long stretches of coastline with limestone cliffs, scenic sand plains, wildflowers, and an authentic outback experience. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing care within the services of continence care. The positions are well-suited for a Registered Nurse with experience working at a senior level in continence care.  

 
Job Summary - Primary Duties:

  • Providing clinical leadership and consultancy to the multidisciplinary health team in continence care. 
  • Review and supervise the delivery of continence services
  • Performing the duties of a Registered Nurse (within scope of practice and delegation of clinical authority) by assessing the holistic health needs and delivering expert nursing care. 
  • Interacting with patients, families, and other visitors in a courteous, helpful manner.
  • Reviewing and planning strategic clinical objectives to ensure achievement of identified goals.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA 
  • Must have experience working at a senior level within the practice of continence care 
  • Must have appropriate qualifications and experience in continence care and patient education
  • Willing to work Monday-Friday, clinic hours
  • Legal rights to work in Australia
