What is Google Hangout Meeting?
Google hangout Meeting is a communication software developed by Google. It allows you to communicate by text, voice, or video chats, either one-on-one or in a group. To start a chat on Google Meeting, you must have a Gmail account. Google Hangout Meeting with an Android Phone
- Download the ‘Hangouts Meet’ App from the Playstore
- Sign into this app using your Gmail account.
Google Hangout Meeting from your iPhone.
- Download the ‘Hangouts Meet by Google’ App from the Apple Store
- Sign into this app using your Gmail account.
Google Hangout Meeting from your Browser.
To start a session with Google Hangouts, in your browser, simply open this page: https://hangouts.google.com. It’s as easy as that. If you’re not already signed in to your Google account, you’ll need to do so to initiate a session (although you can join chats without being signed in).
Joining Google Hangout Meeting from an invitation.
If you have received an invite from someone to attend a google hangout meeting, within the invite you have been sent you will see a link near the ‘Joining Info’. This link will take you directly to the ‘Google Hangout’ Meeting. This will be the case for whether you are using a phone or laptop/desktop. For example (see red arrow):
