Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Paramedic to join their team. The post holder will administer basic and advanced life support to the sick and injured sick in pre-hospital and in-hospital setting in accordance with set Clinic’s policies and procedures. 


Job Summary - Primary Duties:

  • Renders advanced pre-hospital life support in accordance with accepted pre-hospital care standards and approved Clinic's medical protocols.
  • Communicates, reports and documents the patients' history, condition and treatment to the attending Emergency Physicians
  • Applies dynamic risk assessment of the environment and general situation, having due regard for the health and safety of self and others
  • Cooperates with other emergency services as required in order to stabilise the patient and safely transport to a healthcare facility
  • Gives due consideration to patient privacy and confidentiality during emergency procedures and subsequent documentation of details of treatment
  • Participates in skills maintenance program in order to maintain skills and keep abreast of latest developments in emergency medical field

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Medical Services or equivalent from a recognized medicaschool by Ministry of Higher Education or other related discipline is required
  • Three (3) years of related work experience with Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Must be a holder of a valid Saudi Health Council ID as a specialist Paramedic 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
  • Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
