Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Paediatric Gastroenterology (GI) Care Coordinator to join their team. Our client is one of the UAE’s most advanced paediatric services. Specialties include cardiology, oncology, neurology, nephrology, and emergency medicine. Clinical Care Coordination is organization of patient care activities between two or more participants (including the patient) involved in a patient’s care to facilitate the appropriate delivery of health services. Organizing care involves the marshalling of personnel and other resources needed to carry out all the required patient care activities. This is often managed by the exchange of information among participants responsible for different aspects of care. The Care coordinator Nurse works with patients and their families to improve communication and address concerns or special needs that may arise during visit and treatment in the hospital.

The Care Coordinator works directly with the patient/family and various members of the Multidisciplinary Team, hospital departments, and administration to solve problems that patients & families may have with the goal of facilitating a positive patient experience during their time in the Healthcare Facility. The Care Coordinator acts as an intermediary between hospital departments/MDTs and the patient/family to ensure the patient and the family receive the best patient experience and communication.

• Current experience in similar role.
• Valid and current national license is required
• BSc in Nursing (minimum three (3) years full time course duration)
• Care Coordinator Certificate (Desirable)
