Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Research Specialist to join their team. Coordinates and administers clinical research studies and investigator initiated or industry sponsored trials. Typical duties may include: protocol development; identifying study participants; carrying out patient visits; data input and analysis; conducting laboratory procedures; completing research ethics submissions and amendments; and other duties required to support clinical trials. 

Job Summary: Primary Duties:

  • Help in designing and coordinating research projects.
  • Ensure integrity of research data.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders involved in clinical research studies.
  • Help with protocol development and study administration.
  • Assist in ethics submissions/amendments.
  • Under direction of the PI, may provide training and orientation of staff and others on research protocols, change in procedures, study protocols, data collection and data entry, database procedures, medical chart review and storage.
  • Participate in writing sections of scientific papers, funding proposals, grants, abstracts, and presentations.
  • Assist in grant applications.

Experience and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing
  • Master's in Nursing (Desirable)
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a clinical research coordinator
  • Current licensure (RN) with a nursing governing body from the employee's country of origin.
